Developed and executed communications strategy for statewide program funded by the Washington State Department of Health that provided free school-based COVID-19 testing for all K-12 public, private, and tribal schools in the state. Primary client is DOH grantee, Health Commons Project, which rolled out the program- Created brand, website, and content strategy for client’s school-based COVID-19 testing program program- Wrote, designed, and managed back-end for bimonthly newsletter (2x/month)- Managed 1k subscribers with an average open rate of 50% and click rate of 20%- Reported on newsletter engagement metrics monthly and identified opportunities for improvements- Wrote about health trends related to COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses- Wrote and helped produce a language-agnostic COVID-19 testing instructional video that uses visuals to communicate all steps so that anyone, regardless of their preferred language, can understand it- Developed social media assets to promote COVID-19 testing and education for use by partners, including school districts and EMS agencies- Provided suite of communications services for three programs launched by Health Commons Project including branding, web design, and newsletters.
