ABOUT CHASE IRWIN
I am the Managing Partner of Dentons Canada\'s Ottawa Office and a member of the Firm\'s National Management Committee. I am also a Partner in the Firm\'s Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice group and Co-Lead of the Dentons Canada Startup Program, which allows me to help founders, entrepreneurs and companies at every stage of startup company formation and growth.I work on corporate law and transactional matters in the technology sector, including corporate finance and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and a broad range of securities, commercial, and business law matters, with an emphasis on emerging growth companies. My experience in the technology and venture capital sectors has led me to regularly advise high growth, knowledge-based, and emerging technology companies, as well as the venture capital funds and investors that finance them, in all stages of growth through to exit, with a particular emphasis on venture financing, capital raising, and exit strategies. Additionally, I also work extensively with many of Canada’s leading technology accelerators, venture capital firms, and other institutional and angel investors.
