About Chase Barron
Serving as the Geospatial Program Manager for Joint Base Charleston, overseeing the installation’s GIS/IGI & S operations in support of mission-critical infrastructure, planning, and emergency response across multiple tenant units and joint partners. Responsible for managing enterprise GIS workflows, maintaining spatial data accuracy, and supporting decision-making through advanced geospatial analysis.In addition to primary duties, currently serving as the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Program Manager for Joint Base Charleston. Leading the development and implementation of one of the Air Force’s most forward-leaning base-level sUAS programs. Responsibilities include managing procurement and training of Blue UAS platforms, integrating sUAS capabilities into Security Forces, Emergency Management, and Civil Engineering operations, and establishing strategic partnerships to support both home station and expeditionary mission sets.
