Industrial Food Processing Equipment and System DesignDesigned industrial food processing equipment lines for different applications including grinding, mixing, material handling. Released completed bills of materials to the manufacturing and sourcing groups using PTC Creo and Oracle PeopleSoft. Collaborated with large teams of engineers both internal and external to design large industrial food processing systems. Implemented sensors, guarding, and switches where necessary to ensure operator safety. Became a specialist for grinding equipment in March 2025 and have been handling detailed grinding designs, customer support requests relating to grinders, and making customer plant visits to determine the root of issues that come up with grinders in the field to correct them for the future.Manufacturing Process Design ChangesRedesigned several parts that had been designed in the past to be used for the same function but manufactured in a different process including changing bar stock milled parts to sheet metal laser cut parts or changing cast parts to sheet metal parts.Process TeamCollaborated with the engineering group to design and implement processes that optimized workflow by creating new tools, eliminating workflow steps, and creating documentation for difficult processes to eliminate the need to relearn how to perform uncommon tasks. Engineering Change Notice DocumentationCorrected designs that were causing issues across manufacturing, assembly, and in the field, and documented them using an ECN procedure. These included changes that accounted for external interferences, adding etchings or stampings to parts to optimize the alignment process in higher level assemblies, accounting for alternate part vendors, and re-engineering parts for different manufacturing process changes.
