About Charukesh Selvam
Hello, I\'m Charukesh, a student of B.Sc. Multimedia & Animation at VIT Vellore. I have a passion for visual storytelling, digital post-production, and creative media design. My academics so far have shaped my skills in video editing, VFX, motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, cinematography, and game development. Meanwhile, I\'ve earned certifications in After Effects, Motion Graphics, Social Media Editing, and Graphic Design that have helped deepen the technological and artistic bases. Creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving form the heart of most of the work that I enjoy.During the last couple of years, I have been acquiring practical experience through internships and projects in the media and e-learning industry. I have done video editing as an intern at Pallikoodam and Marcaids on promotional videos, educational content, reels, motion graphics, and social media campaigns using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Maya. Project experience includes editing the short film Behind the Swipe, creating a 2D animated short, developing a 2D action game, and completing various freelance reel-editing projects for multiple clients. Other projects included photography assignments and 3D modeling projects, helping me to discover different sides of the creative industry.From my future perspective, I am looking forward to my career in video editing, VFX compositing, and post-production. Later on, I plan to get further training and a Master\'s degree via the GKS pathway. My additional goals also include working on meaningful visual content: short films, commercials, digital media, and creative storytelling projects. I\'m always open to collaborations, freelancing, learning opportunities, and exciting challenges that help me grow as an editor and artist.
