About Charu Gaba

Currently working as a product manager for credit cards department of HSBC bank, I am a highly motivated and aspirational individual. In the last 5 years as a product manager, my most important learning has been to efficiently divide my goals into smaller checkpoints and striving to achieving those within structured amounts of time. Understanding the importance of Voice of Customer is another important lesson I have learnt during these years. Before this, I have worked on scaling the Amazon Pay co brand credit card partnership at ICICI Bank. I have also worked with a technology driven logistics startup, LeanBox Logistic Solutions Pvt Ltd, as a key accounts manager. This experience was equally important in helping me understand the nuances of onboarding and handling clients effectively. I also got a chance to do a summer internship with Hero MotoCorp Ltd. as a marketing and sales intern and this was a humble yet enriching start to my corporate journey. I got a wholesome experience by applying different aspects of my theoretical learning at IIM Raipur in several different projects. I joined IIM Raipur as a fresher after completing B.Sc. with honours in Physics from Miranda House, University of Delhi. The 3 years spent in Delhi shaped a young girl into a confident, strong headed woman who was willing to give all her strength to achieve what she dreamt of. The various opportunities that were presented to me there helped me immensely in my path of evolution. Born and brought up in Karnal, a relatively small city of Haryana, I always thought of defying stereotypical gender roles set by the society and to create an individual identity for myself.I describe myself as a well-balanced amalgamation of dreamer and achiever, rationale and sentiments, firmness and tenderness.
