Commercial and Civil Disputes**I am a tenant (Call: 2021) based at Gatehouse Chambers, a leading set of barristers\' chambers. I have knowledge in Costs, Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Housing, Insurance, and Commercial Dispute Resolution. I am particularly interested in Injury and commercial litigation with an International element. I have recently been ranked as a \"Rising Star\" in Costs and Litigation Funding in the Legal 500: 2025 edition. I have been instructed in the Supreme Court as second junior counsel to the RHA, led by PJ Kirby KC, in the case of R (on the application of PACCAR Inc and others)(Appellants) v Competition Appeal Tribunal and others (Respondents) – a case concerning third party litigation funding (with billion-pound implications), which featured in The Lawyer as one of the “Top 10 Appeal cases of 2023”. I often appear in court multiple times a week, representing both claimants and defendants in interlocutory hearings (applications, injunctions, CCMCs etc.) and final disposals; I routinely appear in the SCCO (High Court), tackling complex procedural issues. I have acted unled in a commercial matter pleaded in excess of £7million. I was also recently instructed in relation to the c.$4.5bn Pt.20 claim arising from the Fundão Dam collapse in Brazil (brought by claimants in the English High Court). I hold an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a First-class B.A. from the University of Warwick. My legal training has been funded by five scholarships: the Lord Denning and Lord Haldane scholarships, as well as the City Law School GDL and BPTC scholarships and support from the Jewish Students Trust. Outside of the law, I photograph unusual libraries and bookshops around the world (less so recently, in a bid to reduce my carbon footprint).
