ABOUT CHARLOTTE PERKINS

I am Group Managing Director of Wilsons, we specialise in Insurance and Financial solutions to businesses and individuals. I help businesses arrange insurance that’s fit for purpose, commercially sound, and easy to manage. I particularly enjoy working with companies that value innovation, often in the engineering, construction, manufacturing, and creative sectors, where there’s a strong focus on doing things differently.Insurance isn’t always a priority for busy teams, but I aim to make the process straightforward and pragmatic. I bring energy, commercial understanding, and a clear focus on cost management. As a business owner myself, I know the importance of staying in control of your overheads while protecting what you’ve built. I’m also experienced in negotiation, helping clients secure competitive, effective insurance solutions.I work closely with my sister Annabel, our CEO, and support wider initiatives that promote family-owned businesses, including the Midlands Family Business Awards and Family Business Futures, an online community platform launched during the pandemic.Outside of work, I’m part of a family-run restaurant business, a completely different kind of challenge — and enjoy family life with my husband, two daughters, and our dog.
