I currently work for the group COO, alongside the Leadership Teams of GAIL\'s Bakery and The Bread Factory facilitating the development of, and supporting the successful delivery and execution of their strategic plans and initiatives. I do this by- Designing & running strategy workshops- Managing multiple stakeholders to build annual and longer term strategic plans. I lead the end to end planning process- Communicating the plans to the business through multiple channels- Setting up ways of working to enable effective collaboration across departments- Tracking progress of strategic initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities - Leading the project managers of strategic initiatives to overcome challenges and ensure the successful delivery of strategic goals- Championing change and project management and driving initiatives to ensure we lead change successfully as a businessI also lead & implement a number of key business improvement projects. I work alongside business executives to help identify opportunities, build strategic plans and implement & embed strategic initiatives. I have significant experience in change & project management. I love people, structure & clarity and live to get things done. I\'m passionate about food and nutrition. MY BACKGROUND & INDUSTRYI have straight A’s, a first class degree and qualified as a chartered accountant. Following 6 years of financial (audit) & advisory (customer strategy) experience at Ernst & Young, I now have 9+ years experience working in the Food & Beverage industry (specifically bakeries/food production) and have an in depth knowledge of both retail and wholesale sales and operations. STRATEGIC PLANS & INITIATIVESIn my current role as Strategic Programme Manager, I report to the Chief Operating Officer of GAIL\'s Bakery (retail) and The Bread Factory (wholesale). I facilitate the end to end strategic planning process for both Leadership Teams. Once the strategic plans are in place, I ensure successful execution of the group\'s strategic goals from communication of the plans and cross departmental collaboration through to leading & supporting project managers of the strategic initiatives. I also personally project manage (plan & design through to implementation and embedding) some of the more complex strategic projects.
