The Royal Signals Institution (RSI) is a not-for-profit organisation and part of the Royal Signals Charity. Its purpose is to foster the professional wellbeing of the Corps and to contribute to the development of Information and Communications Services and cyber and electromagnetic operations within the defence and security sectors. We do this by bringing together military, industry, and academic leaders to facilitate debate, knowledge sharing and strong professional relationships that could shape the future of IT, information services, cyber, telecoms and data capability. Through the RSI Journal and an annual programme of educational and insightful events, including the RSI Dinner and Awards Ceremony at The Dorchester, we are committed to providing value to our Corporate Members whilst maintaining our objective of encouraging development and innovation among The Corps. I\'m a journalism graduate who swiftly jumped ship to the dark side of PR, copywriting and marketing when I realised I couldn\'t pay my mortgage on peanuts! During the last 15 years, I have worked in a range of industries, predominantly within the B2B service-led sectors, helping business and entrepreneurs to develop corporate and personal brands and communication strategies that have had a positive commercial and reputational impact. Detail oriented, I love to get under the skin of every company I work with, understanding how the wheels keep turning and what makes customers and clients tick.
