ABOUT CHARLOTTE LLOYD

When I was younger, I wanted to be a Formula 1 racing driver until one of the boys said “girls can’t race cars” and that was that dream shattered. Later on during my student years, I attended a graduate fair and whilst everyone else was running around trying to get free bottles of shampoo and the rest of their weekly shop from the various stands, I was instantly drawn to the RAF stand, where they were offering the opportunity for students to join the RAF and train to be pilots and YES girls could apply… RESULT!Fast forward past multiple interviews, I got the call I wanted, joined UBAS and thoroughly enjoyed it!Whilst at University, I got a call from a recruiter who explained that she found my CV and asked if I would consider going to one of their assessment days for a Recruiter role? I had no job, I had no plans and attended….the rest, as they say, is.a cliché. I fell into Recruitment; who didn\'t? But as far as falling into a career goes, it was the best fall I ever had!My most recent role as Emerging Talent Recruitment Manager was with HSBC and I loved it! I had the pleasure of attracting and recruiting top talent into our emerging talent programmes and thus helping shape our future leadership workforce- cool right!I have now embarked on my next adventure with Rolls-Royce to transform the way we think about strategic work force planning and the future world of work. As technology rapidly evolves, my role is to identify, cultivate and retain top talent equipped with future ready skills to ensure our workforce is agile, adaptable and ahead of the curve driving innovation and sustained long term success!I love what I do and enjoy sharing my passion with my fellow colleagues. I enjoy seeing people succeed and turning concepts in to reality. I thrive in an environment where my ideas are listened to and I am given the opportunity to try new and innovative ways of working.
