ABOUT CHARLOTTE ADAMS

U.K. Commercial Manager within the Medical Minimally Invasive Surgery industry. The products I market include: Laparoscopic capital/consumables across surgical specialties; Synthetic Mesh; and Acellular Dermal Matrices for soft tissue repair.I thoroughly enjoy providing innovative product solutions to Hospitals within the U.K that can improve patient care and I am especially committed to supporting sustainability, reducing plastic waste in the Operating Theatre as well minimising costs to the NHS and private sector.Elemental Healthcare Ltd (subsidiary of Surgical Innovations Group Plc) is a leading distributor, providing innovative solutions in Minimally Invasive Surgery. The emphasis of Elemental Healthcare is service. It is our mission to provide a first class sales and customer service experience. We recognise the challenges that the NHS and Private healthcare face and are always proactively seeking high quality treatments for patients, which are cost effective for the Healthcare provider.Elemental Healthcare takes environmental sustainability seriously. For example, over the last decade, the profusion of disposable instruments in surgery has resulted in significant and costly issues for hospitals, as they seek to dispose of this waste. Much of the waste is incinerated, causing damage to the atmosphere or sent to land-fill. Now, wherever possible, we take waste out of the system by using reusable elements in our instruments. This change reduces a) the cost of the product, b) the amount of waste, and c) the cost of waste disposal, resulting in huge cost savings to the hospital and environment
