ABOUT CHARLOTTE WEBER
Hi, nice to meet you 🤠 My creative journey started almost twelve years ago, unexpectedly, while making a homemade music video for Lena’s “Satellite” (yes, really). Filming and editing it in Windows Movie Maker made one thing clear: this is the kind of work I want to do. Since then, I’ve completed a degree in Communication Design at HSD Düsseldorf, directed, shot and edited a documentary about the punk band Hacker, worked on aftermovies for festivals like Melt, Splash! and Lollapalooza, and built my own freelance business. Until the pandemic brought it to a halt. Since 2021, I’ve been working as Head of Design at a consulting firm, where I’m responsible for visual brand strategy and the development of holistic design concepts. Recently, I completed a professional training program in UX Design, UI Design and Design Systems with Memorisely. A step that sharpened my skills, strengthened my user-centered mindset, and enables me to contribute more actively to the creation of meaningful digital products. ↕ And yes, I’ve since moved on from Windows Movie Maker. These days, I work with tools like the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
