ABOUT CHARLOTTE SMITH

As a STEP qualified member of the team at Boyes Turner, I engage with individuals of differing circumstances to service all manner of Private Client requirements. I regularly make a range of Probate applications and administering estates of varying compositions, including HNW estates incorporating foreign assets. This has included certain aspects of residential conveyancing such as preparing Declarations of Trust and making first registration applications. I draft Wills and lifetime planning tools that give effect to my clients\' wishes whilst efficiently protecting their wealth through long-term succession planning. I encourage the addition of Lasting Powers of Attorney within these strategies; an area in which I am both well versed and passionate. I am particularly interested in developing my expertise in Inheritance Tax mitigation.My previous experience in high street, regional and boutique London firms, as well as wealth management and estate planning advisory firms, have enhanced the academic knowledge gained during my LLB Law sandwich degree. These opportunities have given me a well-balanced attitude towards the workplace and a strong understanding that collaboration produces the best results.
