ABOUT CHARLOTTE POMASL

As the Vice-President of Tax for Forum Energy Technologies, I am passionate about partnering with our business leaders to drive growth in a tax-efficient manner while minimizing tax risk. I am a CPA with over 25 years of experience in taxation, and a Master of Professional Accounting degree focused in Taxation from The University of Texas at Austin. My core competencies include international taxation, transfer pricing, ASC 740, US federal taxation, income tax treaty analysis, tax controversy, due diligence, acquisitions, dispositions, internal controls, and tax planning. I am passionate about building, transforming, and leading tax departments that partner with business leaders to optimize results in a tax-efficient manner. At Newpark, where I served as the Vice-President of Taxes for over five years, I successfully managed the global tax function, implemented tax-planning strategies, reduced tax department spend, significantly decreased employee turnover, and improved morale. I also have extensive experience working with Big Four accounting firms, tax authorities, and external legal advisors.
