ABOUT CHARLOTTE MURRAY

I am a visionary and values-driven senior leader with extensive experience in the charity and housing sectors. I am passionate about the transformative role charities and anchor organisations can play in fostering a society where everyone can thrive and achieve their potential. My career has been marked by a commitment to social inclusion, operational excellence, strategic growth, and fostering collaborative and inclusive cultures. Currently, I’m the Executive Director of Corporate Services at South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA), where I lead initiatives to ensure compliance, drive workforce improvements, and enhance financial efficiencies. My role involves working closely with the board to set future strategies and explore potential partnerships, while also overseeing quality improvements across IT, Business Change, Governance, HR, Customer Engagement, and more. Previously, as the Director of Care, Health and Wellbeing at SYHA, I managed a substantial business development pipeline and directed significant financial improvements. My leadership extended to various social inclusion disciplines including Homelessness, Employment, and Mental Health, highlighting my ability to build and guide high-performing teams. My role at Good Things Foundation as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Delivery & Policy saw the successful delivery of major digital and social inclusion programs, reaching hundreds of thousands of individuals. I have also held significant roles in marketing and branding at UK online centres, learndirect, and The Prince’s Trust, demonstrating my versatility and expertise in various facets of leadership.
