My work has always sat at the practical end of leadership, taking ownership of buildings, teams and processes and making sure things run properly day to day.A big part of my experience is in facilities and operational management: overseeing workplaces, managing compliance, coordinating contractors and maintenance activity, and making sure environments are safe, functional and fit for purpose. I’m comfortable being the person people come to when something needs fixing, deciding or sorting - and I do it without drama.Alongside this, I’m involved in residential property at a governance and oversight level, working with managing agents while retaining responsibility for compliance, maintenance standards and risk. It’s given me a solid, real-world understanding of building management outside large organisations too.People tend to describe my style as calm, fair and practical. I set clear expectations, back my teams and deal with issues directly when they arise.
