About Charlotte Kacprowicz
I recently earned a J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2024 and a B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from Canisius College\'s All-College Honors Program in 2021, graduating two years earlier than anticipated after completing both high school and college in three years each. In my current role as a federal Judicial Term Clerk at the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, I contribute to legal research and analysis across a diverse range of federal cases. After my clerkship, I plan to continue combining my passions for research and justice through either an appellate clerkship or a more academic/research-based trajectory. As evidenced by my professional experience, legal volunteering, and related awards, I am genuinely and wholeheartedly passionate about research. At the same time, my other volunteer work and student leadership demonstrate my all-encompassing commitment to improving the communities around me. Thus, I find no greater honor than utilizing research for the greater good. Indeed, I view thorough and pragmatic research as a means of determining the most practical application possible. Put another way, I value research that furthers a realistic and meaningful purpose.Although my pursuit of justice is unwavering, I necessarily remain open-minded and adaptable to both opportunities and arguments. Above all, I remain constructively optimistic because I recognize that every experience, including setbacks, is an opportunity to learn and grow.I\'m eager to connect with and/or learn from scholars and practitioners in legal history and policy research.
