ABOUT CHARLOTTE HOGG

As the EMEA Medical Education and Medical Affairs Manager at Boston Scientific, I lead and coordinate the medical education and medical affairs activities for the Urology and Pelvic Health division across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Radiation Oncology Residency Program from the University of Hertfordshire, and over 11 years of experience in the NHS and 5 years in the medical device industry. Since joining Boston Scientific in 2019, I worked as a Clinical Specialist for SpaceOAR, a hydrogel product that reduces the radiation exposure to the rectum during prostate cancer treatment. I also worked as a Therapy Development Specialist, supporting the launch and adoption of new technologies and therapies in the urology and pelvic health market. For the past 3 years, I have worked to build as the Medical Education/Medical Affairs Management where I have single handedly constructed the Medical Affairs status across EMEA for my specific franchise Prostate Oncology. I have developed strong skills in leadership, customer service, and Microsoft Word, as well as a deep knowledge of the clinical and regulatory landscape in the EMEA region. My core competencies include medical education, medical affairs, therapy development, clinical support, and stakeholder management. I am passionate about improving the quality of life and outcomes for patients currently in the Oncology/Urology Sector, and I strive to deliver excellence, innovation, and collaboration in my role.
