ABOUT CHARLOTTE GIERING
I am impassioned to improve people’s (working) lives by shaping the work environment of tomorrow - which for me is exciting, inspiring, and motivating. To understand how I can play a role in this, I have spent the last few years immersing myself in different working and living environments. After growing up and finishing school in Hamburg, I studied and worked in Lüneburg (Germany), Melbourne (Australia), St. Gallen (Switzerland), Maastricht (The Netherlands), and Valencia (Spain), gaining invaluable international experience. Working in both Academia at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and St. Gallen University, as well as in Practice at Beiersdorf and Baugartner & Co. I see the importance and struggles of connecting theoretical findings and practical work with each other. In various seminars, excursions, and fellowships outside my work and studies, I have advanced my understanding of the business world from a variety of different perspectives. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
