ABOUT CHARLOTTE FLATMAN
I’m a fully CIPD-qualified HR professional with a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and 20+ years of experience supporting both strategic and operational HR across organisations of all sizes and sectors. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across a variety of industries and in several countries, gaining valuable commercial insight and a deep appreciation for the impact of effective leadership and people management on organisational success.While passionate about employment legislation, leadership, and principles-led, evidence-based HR, what truly motivates me is helping people grow. I enjoy supporting individuals to develop their skills, build their confidence and capabilities, and ultimately thrive in their careers. For over a decade, I’ve designed and delivered workplace training and development programmes tailored to meet both organisational goals and individual aspirations.My experience spans a range of educational and development roles. I’ve worked as a Lecturer in HR delivering CIPD-accredited qualifications, served as an Industry Trainer in Leadership & Management delivering ILM ((part of the City & Guilds group)(formerly known as the Institute of Leadership & Management)) accredited vocational qualifications. As an ILM-approved Tutor, Assessor, and IQA, I’m currently Centre Manager responsible for running an ILM Approved Centre at SVC Training Ltd. Supporting learners—from aspiring and new managers to experienced leaders—is incredibly rewarding, and I’m committed to guiding them through every stage of their development journey.With 30 years’ experience leading, managing, and advising teams of various sizes and structures, I bring practical, real-world insight into my training, mentoring, and coaching. I specialise in leadership, management, HR, and interpersonal skills development, and I take pride in helping others grow, evolve, and achieve their full potential.As a Chartered Member of the Institute of Leadership and a passionate advocate for lifelong learning, I strive to be a trusted development partner to individuals and organisations aiming to build confident, capable, and future-ready leaders, managers and workforce.
