ABOUT CHARLOTTE DILLON D.
I work within the public sector in Learning & Development, with recent past experience of the private sector. My work remit involves Apprenticeships and management of the DAS account and budget, Mandatory and Role Specific Training, management of the Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Needs Analysis. As well as project work which has included involvement with system delivery of The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism. I am currently studying the CIPD Senior People Professional Level 7, with a specialism in L&D, via an apprenticeship route. Previously I was a retail manager in a £5mil ex vat turnover store, with a BA Hons in education. How have I found the transition from a billion dollar global retailer to life in the Public Sector? A rollercoaster! I love working in a role that allows me to think strategically, be curious, challenge, spin lots of plates and is pressurised. I am very conscious that I am being paid by the tax-payer and strive to deliver value for money every day. I love that I am supporting colleagues to reduce health inequalities across Greater Manchester. I am proud to work for the NHS.
