I am a Director in Deloitte\'s Public Sector practice. I specialise in operational and finance data analytics (although I have a wide understanding of IT risk), particularly in the Healthcare sector. During the Covid-19 pandemic I led an 18 month project focussed on the UK\'s supply resilience of medical consumables. The project was underpinned by sophisticated supply chain and procurement analytics.I have experience of working with clients cross-industry and bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to each engagement. I have significant experience of working for public sector clients, in particular in Healthcare and Higher Education.During my time at Deloitte i have led and delivered many different types of analytics-based engagements- Data Quality Reviews- Data Governance Assessments- Risk Analytics - using data to to identify unusual behaviours and trends- Embeded data technologies to enhance internal control environments and monitoring capabilities- System code reviews-Understanding and documenting complex reconciliations and system calculations- Audit Analytics, both internal and external audit analytics, using data to identify characteristics of interest and enabling a more risk focussed audit across all key business cycles- Creating a \"Single Customer View\"- Data visualisation - using new technologies to help companies view and explore their own dataAs part of a Deloitte innovation competition in 2014, I invented the Moneyback service. A service which uses sophisticated analytics to identify cash recovery opportunities from accounts payable. Typically this is duplicate payments to suppliers. Moneyback has been designed to efficiently identify, prioritise and manage these opportunities for a low cost fee.I am a chartered accountant with the ICAEW and have a number of professional qualifications.
