ABOUT CHARLOTTE BRUCE

I’ve built, scaled, and invested in startups across Europe and Asia, and now focus on how we can better support founders at scale. At Techstars, I look after our non-US business and the evolution of our global founder platform; the systems, data, and networks that help founders and portfolio companies thrive long after the accelerator. My focus is on creating scalable structures that turn early potential into lasting impact.Previously, I was a Principal at Cherry Ventures, backing exceptional early-stage teams across Europe, and a founder and operator with multiple exits, including Quandoo (acquired by Recruit Holdings) and Frank / EdirectInsure (acquired by FWD Group).A neuroscientist by training (PhD, University of Cambridge), I’m particularly passionate about science and deep-tech startups, and about how community, capital, and culture come together to accelerate their success.Outside work, I’ve represented Great Britain in triathlon, competed in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, and kitesurfed 600 km for The Ocean Cleanup - pursuits that, much like startups, demand resilience, curiosity, and endurance.
