Hello My name is Charlize! I\'m an aspiring CPA and graduate of UPEI\'s McDougall Faculty of Business. I am passionate about leadership and positively impacting organizations and individuals around me. I am currently at EY as a Staff Accountant in Tax. Previously, I led UPEI\'s Case Competition Program as Team Captain, the UPEI Business Society as Vice President, and now remain as the Vice President of UPEI\'s Class of 2024. Working in my family\'s small business from a young age gave me firsthand insight into the dedication and strategic thinking required to build and sustain a business. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in business, where I aim to support businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations in achieving their goals through thoughtful financial and operational decisions.
