ABOUT CHARLIE LAUBERTH

I currently serve as a Senior Architect at Burns & McDonnell in our Aviation & Federal global practice. I provide consulting and design services on a variety of project types including military and commercial aircraft hangars, commercial aviation facilities, federal office spaces, light-industrial shops, and fueling facilities for clients ranging from the DOD and the DOE to international airports and commercial airlines.I have experience working with the architectural project lifecycle from project inception to the built condition. This includes initial design and planning charrettes, design development, construction document preparation, 3D modeling and visualization, specification writing, construction administration, and facility assessments. I have also had the rewarding opportunity to interface with clients and end-users throughout this process. I am constantly trying to find new techniques to improve the efficiency of our practices to make our clients successful through innovation. I currently serve as the Architecture Department’s representative on the Production Management Team to achieve this goal. I am a Registered Architect and a Registered Roof Observer who is licensed to practice in Missouri. I obtained dual master’s degrees in architecture and construction management with a minor in business from the University of Kansas. This academic background has fostered a unique point of view to position my career in the AEC industry. In the future, I hope to further explore additional opportunities in leading design teams, project management, and business development.
