About Charlie Johnson
With over 30 years in research, and 16 years as Director of the Texas A&M AgriLife Genomics & Bioinformatics Service (TxGen), I founded and lead a production-scale genomics facility dedicated to delivering reliable high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics solutions. Our team has supported over 1,400 researchers in 45+ countries, processing hundreds of thousands of samples annually and generating data across diverse species. Our focus is on empowering agricultural, wildlife, and biological research.
