We focus on seed stage deep tech in Massachusetts with an emphasis on academic spinouts, diverse founding teams, and diverse geographies across the Commonwealth. Under my leadership, MassVentures has quadrupled AUM, doubled the number portfolio companies, more than doubled the team, created multiple successful accelerator programs, achieved several successful exits, and improved profitability.I lead the organization as the CEO and Chief Investment Officer. Our focus is sustainable returns for our evergreen fund and substantial economic impact in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition to leading strategy, operations, and investments, I work closely with our portfolio companies to help guide them through product/market/pricing fit, operational strategy, financial strategy, capital raising, sales model implementation, HR, and the psychological roller coaster.
