I am an Accounting & Finance student at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), recognized on the Dean’s List and pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). My academic and professional journey has centered on developing a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and strategic business leadership — skills I intend to use to create meaningful impact in both the corporate and entrepreneurial world.Currently, I serve as an Area Office Assistant in LMU’s Office of Housing, where I support over 300 residents by managing administrative operations, resolving inquiries, and coordinating service requests with university departments. This role has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities — all essential traits for the accounting profession.Beyond campus, I’ve gained early exposure to finance and innovation through my work with Cielo Global, where I supported the development of a $50 million tokenized real estate investment fund. I built Excel-based acquisition models, analyzed returns, and contributed to investor pitch materials while learning how blockchain and real estate can intersect to drive modern investment solutions.I am also a participant in the Goldman Sachs Emerging Leaders Series, a selective program designed to prepare high-potential students for leadership roles across business and finance. Through this experience, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of professional ethics, career development, and the broader responsibilities that come with leadership.My long-term vision is to begin my career in audit or assurance at a public accounting firm, where I can refine my technical expertise, gain client-facing experience, and deepen my understanding of financial reporting. In the future, I aspire to leverage this experience to build my own accounting practice and invest in real estate ventures that create sustainable value and opportunities for others.Outside of academics, I’m actively involved in LMU’s Accounting Society and Business Law Society, where I continue to expand my professional network and learn from industry mentors. I’m driven by curiosity, discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement — values that guide both my academic and professional growth.
