WAIM was founded in 1984 as an association of churches, synagogues, fellowships, and concerned citizens to help neighbors in need in Northeastern Connecticut. The organization provides material goods like clothing, furniture, and appliances, as well as emergency financial assistance and mentoring to those in need. All at no charge to the clients. In a recent ALICE report over 35% of people in CT cannot meet their monthly expenses. I am proud to be supporting an organization that directly helps and empower the residents of the Windham region and their children.
