I am a first‑generation graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana‑Champaign with a degree in Accountancy, and I currently work as an Assurance Associate at RSM US LLP, specializing in State and Local Government audits. In this role, I support municipalities, park districts, school districts, and other public agencies helping them strengthen internal controls, meet compliance requirements, and deliver transparent financial reporting to their communities.I’m currently studying for the CPA exam and continuing to build my expertise in governmental accounting, GASB standards, and the unique challenges that come with public‑sector financial reporting.Outside of work, I love traveling, trying new foods, and spending quality time with friends and family. I’m always looking for new places to explore whether that’s discovering a hidden restaurant, visiting a new city, or soaking in different cultures. Those experiences keep me motivated and balanced, and they inspire the curiosity and adaptability I bring back into my work. I love knowing that the work I do helps public agencies operate more effectively and earn the trust of the people they serve it’s meaningful, challenging, and exactly the kind of impact I want to make.
