Charlie believes that people are the greatest asset that any organization has, and he has dedicated his career to identifying & cultivating exceptional talent. At AMS, Charlie leads the recruitment process team for Delta’s Flight Attendants. Charlie started his career as a Teach For America (TFA) teacher in Philadelphia before becoming a teacher coach in Baltimore. Afterwards, he transitioned to talent acquisition, and has 12 years of progressive recruitment leadership experience at TFA, Venture For America, Better Mortgage, and most recently Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he was responsible for all AWS interns in the US and Canada and leading a team of 24. A champion of emerging talent pipelines, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and early career recruitment programs, he has won multiple awards from Ripplematch and Handshake for his exceptional leadership and teams\' results.Charlie graduated as a Robertson Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University with a degree in Social & Education Policy and holds a master’s degree from The University of Pennsylvania. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends in Atlanta.
