Oversee intake operations, screening applications and coordinating with law students and volunteers to evaluate applications and present candidates to the Legal Director. • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers from a broad range of ideological backgrounds. • Develop and implement new strategies to proactively identify potential innocence and manifest injustice cases.• Use statistical analysis to identify race and gender-based disparities in the Montana criminal legal system. • Conduct legal research in support of petitions for postconviction relief, appeals to the Montana Supreme Court, and federal habeas petitions.
