Building AI-powered AP automation from 0 to 1- Set up the platform backend as the sole engineer, enabling several new/existing engineers to rapidly onboard onto the project and make significant contributions- Contributing to product and sales development by sitting on calls to assess custom implementation and answer questions, building internal onboarding/analytics tools, and proposing features + decomposing them into actionable engineering requirements- Leveraging OCR, LLMs, and search engine techniques (fuzzy matching, vector embeddings, etc) to achieve intelligent 3-way match and GL coding, and built event-driven pipeline to ingest and classify thousands of documents from direct upload, email, and MMS- Designing and implementing a GraphQL API layer, integrating it with the existing REST-based global payments service, and created a declarative library for resolving cursor-based, filterable+sortable pagination into performant single-query SQL- Building distributed ELT pipelines to integrate with multiple cloud and on-prem accounting softwares- Stood up automated, scalable infra using Terraform, S3, SNS -> SQS -> Lambda pattern, and more
