As a partner of our Business Law Group, Charlie advises on all aspects of corporate-commercial law, with a focus on private companies in connection with various transactions and ongoing governance issues. Charlie represents start-up enterprises and closely-held businesses, as well as professional practices on a wide range of issues, including incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, financing and negotiating key commercial agreements. He also represents banks and other lenders in connection with secured lending facilities and various loan transactions. He strives to understand each client\'s business and objectives to deliver creative strategic solutions tailored to each business needs at all stages of growth. Clients appreciate Charlie\'s pragmatism, straightforward approach to transactions and practice of law. Charlie is committed to building long term relationships with his clients and not just managing transactions.Charlie is actively involved in the Korean-Canadian community. He is a Director of KCWA Family and Social Services, an organization dedicated to serving and advocating for the interests of the Korean-Canadian community. He is also a former Director and Vice-President of the Korean Canadian Lawyers\' Association.As a native of South Korea, Charlie is pleased to interact with his clients in both English and Korean.
