Safran has operated in Malaysia for over 50 years, as a major partner to local private and public entities in the aviation and defense markets. In 2015, a year after opening a local office in Kuala Lumpur, Safran inaugurated its first Safran Landing Systems plant in Malaysia, thus consolidating its market positions in the region. Today, Safran has three subsidiaries and joint ventures in the country, with a total of 150 employees.
