I have a wide variety of artistic experiences that make me qualified for a variety of careers in various sectors, including Social Media Content Creation, Film History/Research, Theatre, Museum/Gallery, and Education.Social Media Content and Film:I work as a freelance Film Historian, operating @SilentstoTalkies on various Social Media Sites. I produce videos in which I investigate why individual Silent Film Actors lost career momentum in the Talkies in the 1930’s. Theatre:I began to professionally pursue acting in 2010. I went back to the University of South Carolina to study theatre, with a focus on acting, and finished up my Bachelor\'s in May 2011, graduating Cum Laude. I have worked professionally as an Actor (SAG-AFTRA, AEA), Singer, and Director. My theatrical acting experience includes performances in a wide variety of plays and musicals, including Much Ado About Nothing (Claudio), King Lear (Gloucester), The Boys in the Band (Michael), The Crucible (Reverend Hale), The Philadelphia Story (Mike), Million Dollar Quartet (Johnny Cash), Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Buddy Holly), Company (Paul), and The Wedding Singer (George).My theatrical directing experience includes Mamma Mia, Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Carol, and 30+ high school mainstage and blackbox productions. My music education has spanned 20+ years. I began studying piano and voice in the third grade. I started to more seriously study vocal technique 15+ years ago and have focused on opera, classical, pop, and musical theatre songs. My vocal range is A1 to G5.Museum/Gallery:I also hold a Master\'s Degree in Art History and a Graduate Certificate in Museum Management. My specific area of study was 1960\'s politically orientated \"Neo-Dada\" art. My thesis and museum internship project focused on the works of Yoko Ono. I worked for 3 years as an Assistant Registrar at McKissick Museum, where I reorganized the loan system and re-catalogued all works of art and historical objects in the collection.Education:I am a Certified Teacher and have 8 years experience in High School Drama. In 2023, I was named A.C.
