ABOUT CHARLIE FREEMAN
I am a graduate of York St John University, with a First Class Honours Degree in Sports Science and Injury Management.Following a career in Durham County Council, at 25 I decided to pursue my interest in Sport and my dream of working in Sport Development. I chose my degree based on my personal interest and was lucky to be elected onto the Women\'s Rugby Union committee in my first year which led me to a role in the Students Union.In my final year, following a successful bid for the University Sport Activation Fund, I was given the post of Sport Participation Coordinator while undertaking my studies. This developed my time management and work prioritisation skills alongside my knowledge of the sector.Following this experience I moved into the Insurance Sector to pursue a career in a highly driven and analytical environment, starting first in sales, then account management and now as a Team Leader.
