About Charlie Watson

Charlie Watson is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates’ Financial Services Practice where he conducts senior level recruitments and executive assessments for Private Equity and Global Banking Clients. He leads many of the Firm\'s projects in the Real Asset space (Infrastructure, Power, Renewables, Digital Infrastructure, Energy Transition, Water/Waste and Transportation.etc.), focusing on both investing roles, Operating Partner roles, portfolio company executives, and board assignments. He is Hogan Certified, and is active in the Firm’s large Executive Assessment projects. Additionally, Charlie is a Certified Executive Coach, having been awarded Level II honors after completing the Columbia Coaching Certification Program. Charlie is based in Stamford, CT.Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Charlie was a Vice President and Sector Specialist, Institutional Equities, for J.P. Morgan. Prior to that, he was in a similar role at Deutsche Bank. Previously, Charlie was an Associate in Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette\'s Equities’ Research Department (later Credit Suisse First Boston). He began his career in Chemical Bank\'s Private Banking Department, Entrepreneurs and Business Owners Division.Charlie sits on the Board of Trustees of The Taft School and Co-Heads The Taft Fund (The School\'s Annual Fund). He also sits on the Parents’ Committee. For years, he sat on the Board of Directors of the United States Adaptive Golf Association (U.S.A.G.A.) and its predecessor (Freedom Gold Association). The U.S.A.G.A. is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to bringing joy and a sense of freedom to the special needs community through their inclusion in the game of golf. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of the New Canaan Lacrosse Association for many years.
