   I lead a team of attorneys and legal professionals that provides legal and regulatory advice in support of New York Life\'s Foundational Business - which includes retail life insurance and annuity products, as well as the Company\'s wealth management solutions. Support also includes management of SEC and certain state regulatory matters related to such products. As a lead attorney in New York Life\'s Foundational Business, inclusive of my role supporting Product Solutions, I routinely advise senior business leaders and C-Suite executives in areas which include risk management, corporate governance, digital commerce and product distribution and development. I am a broadly experienced senior legal executive with a track record of success. I have demonstrated the ability to proficiently identify, analyze and implement practical solutions to complex legal issues. I also have extensive experience building and managing in-house legal functions and outside counsel engagements.I have taken on roles of increasing scope and responsibility at New York Life since joining the Company in 2005, which has brought me to the role I currently hold. I started as an associate attorney supporting distribution matters associated with the Company\'s variable life and annuity products, and during my tenure have developed skills and capabilities that have allowed me to ascend to leadership of the Company\'s legal advisement concerning its entire suite of insurance and wealth management solutions; and become a respected and trusted voice within the life insurance industry.
