About Charles Self

Charles Self is known for his ability to architect an accelerated revenue topline, as well as for his government regulation expertise with financial services organizations. He is now looking to share this experience on corporate boards of directors. Chuck\'s robust career that has been a blend of focused on fixed income investment processes, followed by concentration on sales, marketing and product management of alternative investment strategies. Over the years, he\'s been recruited by investment management organizations to grow assets under management and upgrade investment strategy and processes. Chuck has created new products for such organizations including SEC-registered and offshore mutual funds, and implemented regulatory compliance procedures. He chairs the Investment Committee for Governmental Insurance Managers Board and serves on its Audit Committee. Chuck is also on the Sun America Annuity Funds Board. He is on the Audit and Investment Committees on the Ohio Mutual Insurance Group Board. Chuck was also the First Board President of the Bright Promise Fund for Urban Christian Education. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award (only 3 given so far) for board work at the Association of African American Financial Advisors. Chuck is a member of the Private Directors Association.
