Introduction:I am a commercial barrister specialising in the resolution of international and domestic commercial disputes. As well as appearing regularly in court, I help clients resolve disputes in/through Arbitration (under all the major Institutional Rules and across wide spectrum of seats), mediation and other forms of ADR.How I can help you:I cover all forms of commercial and chancery/chancery disputes, specialising in civil fraud (including contempt of court), company/joint venture/partnership, commercial litigation (including construction, franchising, sports and costs disputes), insolvency and trusts litigation. I am recommended in, variously, Chambers & Partners UK, Chambers Global and Legal 500 for my onshore and offshore work.Called to the BVI Bar, I act regularly for clients based in, or involved in disputes in, Europe, Russia, the Americas, the Caribbean (including the BVI, Cayman Islands, the Turks & Caicos Islands and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas) and the Far East.I enjoy working with foreign counsel and experts of foreign law. Much of my work involves conflicts of laws matters and I act as an expert on English law in foreign proceedings.My Background: I have been working at the Independent Bar since 2010. Prior to this, I worked in the International Arbitration & Litigation Group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom (UK) LLP. I have also spent time on secondment with a major litigation funder.I am co-author of a leading practitioners\' text on disclosure,\"Electronic Disclosure: Law & Practice\"(Oxford University Press) and I have assisted and advised civil rules committees in various jurisdictions over pending amendments to rules concerning discovery/disclosure. I am a regular speaker at online and in person national and international conferences and seminars. I am also member of the Middle Temple International Sub-Committee.
