I am responsible for the leadership, administration, and management of the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program. I inspire and mentor cadets, fostering the development of leadership, citizenship, and personal responsibility. This includes teaching, curriculum development, program management, and coordination with school administration and community stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership and Management:Lead and manage the overall JROTC program to ensure it meets the standards and objectives set by the Army Cadet Command and school district.Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance program quality and effectiveness.Oversee the daily operations of the program, including training schedules, events, and competitions.Teaching and Curriculum Development:Instruct cadets in leadership, citizenship, physical fitness, and life skills.Develop and update the JROTC curriculum to align with Army and educational standards.Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to support cadet learning.Cadet Development:Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to cadets, promoting their academic, personal, and leadership growth.Foster a positive inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and respect.Monitor and evaluate performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition.Community and Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with school administration, parents, and community organizations.Coordinate and participate in service projects, field trips, and extracurricular activities to enhance cadet experiences.Represent the JROTC program at school and community events, promoting its mission and achievements.Program Administration:Manage the program budget, procurement of equipment, and supplies.Ensure compliance with all Army regulations, policies, and guidelines related to JROTC programs.Maintain records, and reports required by the Army and school district.
