As an Administrator, I work mainly in three areas: operations/development management, financial management, and planning. In 2020, I coordinated with the Wisconsin DOT and Fond du Lac County Highway Department on the reconstruction of two of our major highways in Campbellsport. Additionally, the village is currently partnering with our existing developers to encourage residential home growth in our three newest subdivisions: Valley View, Soaring Eagle, and Theisen Trails in which we have had 34 new homes built in the past 34 months. All of this runs concurrent with recruiting additional industry to move to Campbellsport into our second industrial park which boasts 30+ additional acres of development. I also work closely with our Campbellsport Area Chamber of Commerce to create an open line of communication between our business community and Village staff.For financial management, budget preparation and management, billing for services rendered/received and utility services is another portion of my responsibilities. Efficient communication with vendors and residents alike is essential to making sure the village is of a sound financial position in regard to revenues and expenses we incur.Since January of 2021, the Village of Campbellsport has embarked on ambitious planning for updating its Comprehensive Plan, crafting its very first Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan, a 10-year infrastructure improvement plan through 2032, as well as a 5-year capital improvement plan for our wastewater utility. Implementation of our infrastructure plan began in 2023 and will continue in 2024 along with the start of our sewer plant capital improvement plan implementation.
