Leading all human resource management functions, including:Strategic HR• Building/re-building every aspect of the organization’s HR systems and policies, while focusing on the organization’s mission, vision, and values• Continually ensuring alignment of the organization’s practices, policies, and initiatives with organizational goals, industry best practices, compliance/legal requirements, and stakeholder preferences/best interests• Actively shaping HR strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future human capital needs, retention, and succession planning, in concert with establishing/enhancing the company’s social responsibility and workplace culture investments in DEI, wage equity, etc.• Utilizing cross-functional teams, as well as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) through ongoing quantitative and qualitative analysisTransactional HR• Serving as sole internal and external contact for all Total Rewards/Compensation and Benefits matters• Processing and auditing payroll biweekly, including commissions, bonuses, expense reimbursements, etc.• Instrumental in bringing new Florida office online, fully staffed and trained, with significant time spent onsite• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants for open positions in all offices• Proactively involved in all employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations• Organizing company-wide events to promote employee engagement and boost moraleTraining and Development• Leading all Learning & Development/Talent Development/Talent Management processes• Designed and built the Training Department, company-wide training and development programs, and all onboarding, training, and development materials, based on consultation with internal and external stakeholders, as well as industry SMEs
