I’ve always been interested in what makes people tick and what problems they see in the world they want to solve — especially when they’ve built a business around doing just that.Over my career, I’ve consistently gravitated toward roles rooted in service. I enjoy being part of someone’s journey: understanding their goals, seeing their potential, and helping them move in the right direction. Watching what people can do with a little clarity, structure, and encouragement is what energizes me.For nearly seven years, that work centered on supporting startups and small businesses through fundraising and growth. That experience shaped how I show up professionally — as a problem solver, a steady resource, and a partner who understands how critical the right people and capital are to a business’s success.More recently, that same approach led me into veterinary recruiting. Through my work with SWE Group, I supported small animal practices in identifying, attracting, and hiring associate veterinarians — often in challenging markets. I found that the work combined many of the things I do best: listening closely, understanding real constraints, setting expectations, and guiding both practices and candidates through an important decision.Today, I’ve launched Upstate Veterinary Recruiting, where I provide independent, partnership-based recruiting support for veterinary practices. My focus is on creating a structured, thoughtful process that respects everyone’s time and leads to better long-term outcomes — not just placements.I’ve worn many hats over the years, but they’ve all helped fine-tune how I work best: helping others make progress through clarity, strategy, and trust.If any part of my background resonates with you — or if you’re a veterinary practice navigating hiring challenges — I’m always open to connecting.
