Create complete specification using CET etools in presentation format as required. Includes drawing, BOM, discounting, VI renderings (or outsourced high-quality renderings) depending upon project requirements• Integrate all products from Kimball portfolio into a complete design solution to determine the optimal product application to compete-to-win• Create alternative solutions based upon activity-based design & market drivers; provides the project designer with ideas as input into the solution we offer to the customer• Identify & proposes lower cost product solutions• Assess competitive & /or bid specification requirements; creates optimal solution to customer needs while minimizing specials, if appropriate• Travels to dealer, designer, & customer locations, as needed• Work with Architectural Design firms and enduser customers to build client solutions• Show various product typical concepts in early stages of sales cycle using available design technology tools• Work directly with By Design to translate product into special quotes needed for product application• Answer technical product questions in collaboration with the Product Technical Team• Direct the specification work of outsource specifiers and provides real-time feedback• Create & transfer knowledge packet to designated outsource specifiers, as needed• Verify accuracy of dealer\'s specification work, as needed • Train Kimball sales team, dealers, and outsource specifiers on product integration, application & technical capability to effectively specify Kimball products• Assist with tradeshows, showrooms & mock-up design, specification & /or spec check assistance, as needed• Assist in client showroom and dealer presentations-i.e. ability to clearly communicate ideas and product solutions
