About Charles Wilson

Prior to forming Wilson | Blount Development, Charles served as Chief Financial Officer of Keystone Corporation, an international real estate development firm headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina which has developed over 7 million square feet of commercial, residential, and industrial space over its 42 year history. Since 2016, Charles has also served as President and Owner of Compass Capital, LLC, a real estate investment fund where he has taken active investment positions in a range of commercial and residential projects.Prior to joining Keystone, Charles served as Vice President of PNC Bank, helping manage and set strategy for the entirety of the bank’s commercial loan portfolio. Prior to PNC Bank, Charles was with Credit Suisse in New York, where he was responsible for overseeing credit for a multi-billion dollar trading portfolio within the Financial Institutions Group. ​Charles obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 2005 and his Masters in Business Administration in 2009 from the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. He is a current member and past chairman of the Wake County Ducks Unlimited chapter, and sits on the board the Boys & Girls Club of Wake County. As of 2022, Charles also serves on the local advisory board of Dogwood Bank.
