ABOUT CHARLES WILLIAM LEWIS

Research Sociologist: Initiate, design, and lead social science projects, with expertise in qualitative methods, interview techniques, survey design and analysis, and database design. Have basic command of standard and multivariate statistics, statistical software (SPSS) packages, and quantitative analysis, with the ability to adapt methodologies to test new hypotheses. Write up results and present findings at conferences. Areas of expertise: Gender, human rights, civil-military issues, and international conflict/ development. Representative: Represent nonprofit/ agency at workshops, diplomatic events, fundraisers, and conferences. Initiate, design, and lead stakeholder tours, informational meetings, and formal seminars.
