So why should you accept a connection request from me? I guarantee it\'s not to sell you something, bother you or pass your name along to someone else. You may occasionally see a blog from me written by one of my engineers or see an ad. Call it passive marketing. Why do I have so many connections? To be frank, relationships! I enjoy traveling and meeting people. It started when I was 13 years old working at Whaley\'s general store on Edisto Island, SC in the summer and at a Baskin Robbins and Piggly Wiggly grocery during the school year. To me there is nothing better than running into someone who says,\"I think I know you\". Also, I love seeing people I have connected to at conferences or having the ability to share a meal with someone while I am traveling. I hate to eat alone! We may discuss for 15 minutes what my engineers can do for you and who should do it, or we might talk about beer, wine, music, sports or our families. I see lots of attorneys, insurance professionals, and engineers. I have handled HR, recruiting and business development at EDT for 22 years. I enjoy finding the right person for the job, whether it\'s placing one of my engineers with an attorney or an adjuster as a consultant or finding and hiring an engineer. The knowledge that they enjoy what they do and succeed as a result is a bonus for me. It\'s not just about finding \"A\" consultant. It\'s about finding the \"right\" consultant. The bottom line is relationships. I look forward to connecting and one day meeting in person. Chuck
